Can you hear me now?? We can if you’ve studied voice! This class explores the various ways we can use our voices. One of the most important tools of an actor is theirability to use their voice in multiple ways. Speaking, singing, rhythm-making, sound effects, andcharacter voices are just some of the ways an actor uses their voice. We will explore how ourbreathing, posture, and even what we eat (!) help shape our voice, how it sounds, and how we use it.

Many people, especially children, struggle to effectively communicate and share their thoughts. Studying the tools we use to communicate – and best practices for using those tools – can help build and strengthen skills that include clearer communication, self-confidence, and self-awareness.
