Intro to Improv
4th grade - 6th grade
September 13th - November 15th at 10:00 - 11:30 AM
10 weeks (Saturdays only)
Through fun and challenging introductory improvisation games, students will think quickly and creatively. They will learn the principles of "yes, and..." character creation and spontaneous scene-building while strengthening their collaboration ability. Through various exercises, students will gain confidence in making bold choices and responding to unexpected situations supported by their instructor and peers. By the end of the course, students will have sharpened their communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. On the last day of class, they will showcase what they've learned in a final performance for friends and family.
